Vitcas HB60 is a hydraulically setting, heat-resistant adhesive formulated for fixing tiles, fire bricks, and for use in the construction of stoves, wood-fired pizza ovens, tiled stoves, barbecue grills, and fireplaces. It is also suitable for gap filling and offers an extended working time, allowing for accurate positioning and adjustment during installation.
Description
Vitcas HB60 Heat-Resistant Adhesive is hydraulic bonded for constructing stoves, fireplaces, tiled stoves, and outdoor applications such as barbecue grills and pizza ovens. With an extended setting time, it provides flexibility, allowing you to precisely align elements before the adhesive hardens. It is perfect for rendering over mesh on construction boards prior to applying Vitcas Heat Resistant Plaster. Additionally, it is ideal for use as a 'dot and dab' adhesive on high-temperature plasterboards, vermiculite boards, and construction boards, particularly when the surface is uneven. Heat-resistant up to 750°C, Vitcas HB60 ensures long-lasting durability in high-temperature environments.

Installation
- Open the bucket and thoroughly mix the contents.
- Mix with cold tap water (approx. 200ml per 1kg) in a clean, dry bucket with clean tools.
- Ensure the surface is clean and free of dust or debris.
- Materials to be joined should be dry, except for plasterboards, vermiculite boards, and construction boards, which must be coated with Vitcas PVA before fixing.
- Avoid using old or hardened mortar and do not mix it with fresh material.
- Once applied, do not adjust the position of the board or tile. If repositioning is necessary, remove the material and reapply the mortar.
- Minimum working time is one hour, but the setting time depends on water content and temperature.
