Matt Black Telescopic Stove Pipe
The Matt Black Telescopic Stove Pipe fits into our standard lengths of pipe, allowing it to move up and down for an easy adjustable fit. Very useful in case of connection to a Twin Wall chimney placed on the ceiling, as it allows the disconnection to perform periodic cleaning.
Description
Representing the highest level of quality, 1.2mm low grade carbon steel is laser-welding ensures the steel pipes perfect welding. Subsequent internal/external vitreous enamel coating baked to 850°C provides exceptional resistance against corrosion by combustion condensate. V2 test results specified by corrosion resistance Standard 1856-2 show that Plus flue pipes have a significantly longer duration than normally painted 2 mm thick pipes that have not received internal vitreous enamel coating.
They are perfectly resistant even to extreme situations such as soot-fire (a fire that occurs inside the pipe) without being damaged or modified.Applications
Our products are suitable for oil, gas and solid fuels, for domestic heating appliances, pipe should only be used as a connecting pipe between your appliance and Flue Liner / Chimney Stack / Twin Wall Flue System.
Installation
- Should not be within 450mm from combustible material, e.g. wood, plaster boards, etc.
- When installing make sure the flue is installed the correct way up - the smaller diameter should always be pointing downward.
- Friction fit joint so dose not require sealing of the joints, For extra security if desired each joint could be coated with a jointing compound (fire cement or high temperature silicone sealant).This makes sure that no condensate can escape and spoil the appearance of the pipe.
- Can be cut, but care must be taken to cover any exposed steel with high tempter paint as this will rust over time.
